Pink Prom Dress!

My small manni, Ellie, is wearing her pink prom dress to the Strawberry Patch Barn Sale on Aril 26th-28th! I found this sweet 50`s dress at a local antique mall this pat weekend. I was so excited! These are so hard to find and pricey. The girl who owned it worked with me so this pink beauty came home with me!

Working on a few things....

This is just a small portion of what I`ve worked on or currently working on for the last few weeks. The rest of my work table is covered up and just waiting for me to go through it.
What a mess! Gotta get focused on creating instead of collecting....or not!

Sometimes I just have to look at my "stuff" and play with it before it has another life.

Victorian And Vintage Laces....Another Weakness

I have been blogging and talking about The Strawberry Patch Barn Sale for the last two weeks. I have had several of you ask about selling some of my laces there. I will have sweet little packages available for sale in my booth...Just a small way to share the love of vintage Victorian laces. Here are some of my collections that I`ll display at my booth....

Passion for Pink...

For Spring I definitely love colors. Pinks and blues are my favorite. I am working in my studio getting ready for a fabulous barn sale The Strawberry Patch!

A Barn Sale!!!!

Blue skies....Blue creations....

Even though I love pink, blue has been popping up in my studio! I`ve been creating using more color for Spring. I love using treasures I`ve found while shopping at antique malls and stores. Here`s a few things I came up with....


(I love the hooks above the pocket! Great to dangle earrings or little sparkly elements)!

I found this blue jewelry box and knew it was mine when I opened it up and saw the pink lining!



Baby rattles...Love the sterling bell. I made a pink one in an earlier post...


If you look closely, you`ll see the larger crytal beads. They are etched and very old. I fell in love with the necklace they were made with.

I found this vintage Limoges pendant and loved the face on this sweet lady. The blue on her shawl drew me in...



I placed this necklace on a vintage doll trunk. I thought it would be great for a display for a show. I`ll post it later....Now back to my studio to create with color....
